Curtiss-Wright, Peerless Instruments are looking for an Assembler to join them at their Farmingdale, NY facility. As the Assembler you will follow process instructions and blueprints to assemble components and achieve final configuration required on drawings for the production of our state-of-the-art products.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs and documents completed work via product router. Ensures correct specifications per manufacturing instructions prior to completion of work.
  • Performs assembly functions which include cabinet preparation, mechanical assembly, harness preparation, cable installation and equipment wiring.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following safety procedures including the handling of materials, tools and equipment.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in wire harness, cable and mechanical assembly utilizing a variety of hand and power tools
  • IPC/WHMA-A-620 wiring qualification or knowledge is preferred.
  • Must have good manual dexterity, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings and manufacturing procedures
  • Must be a US Citizen
