Inside Sales Specialist - entry level

Great potential for a young and motivated individual to advance their career upward in our sales team!

Under direct supervision, serves as Inside Sales representative dealing with internal and external customers including engineering, teaming partners, and sales colleagues on day-to-day business matters. Responsibilities include assisting sales on workflow tasks and activities, reviewing and processing requests for quotations, diagnosing customer's needs, selecting products including product conversions, obtaining quotes and status from teaming partners, writing and submitting final quotations in accordance with established guidelines, processing purchase orders, and ensuring payment is collected for products and services rendered.

Your Challenge:

  • Serves as an administrative liaison between Sales and Operational areas within the company such as engineering, manufacturing, quality, and shipping.
  • Will perform various responsibilities relating to ERP Quote System including assisting sales with RFQ processing and task completion
  • Assist in formal proposal development with inside sales and product line management
  • Obtain quote and order status from teaming partners, engineering, and operations
  • Interact with external customers on behalf of inside and outside sales
  • Update and monitor CRM to ensure accuracy of open leads, quotes, and opportunities

Your Expertise:

  • High School or equivalent, Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Up to 1 year in a similar role
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to develop strong and trust worthy relationships with business partners.
  • Familiar with and proficient in SharePoint, Microsoft CRM, and Microsoft office environment including Word, Excel, & Power Point.
  • Proficient in basic math skills
  • Must be a Hunter not a Gatherer
