Maintenance Repair Tech, Sr.

Under minimal supervision, diagnoses, repairs, and maintains a wide variety of electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing equipment. Calibration of test equipment will also be a primary function of this role.

Location: Shelby, NC

The Challenge:

  • Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine a wide variety of problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.
  • Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings.
  • Has thorough knowledge of electrical, mechanical and manufacturing principles and able to diagnose and correct all malfunctions in the most economical manner.
  • May perform a variety of equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers.
  • May direct and supervise the work of others when assigned and perform other tasks as directed.
  • May perform troubleshooting and repairing on CNC equipment, electric Pyrometry equipment, electroplating equipment, automation, and robotics.

Your Expertise:

  • 4-6 years of experience in a Maintenance Repair Tech. role or similar.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and hydraulic diagrams; perform alignments on all machines; diagnose and make corrections. Basic electrical wiring, plumbing, and welding skills.
  • Computer literate and able to perform basic math.
  • Must be able to lift 35lbs and be able to be certified to operate a forklift.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and follow procedures and instructions.
