The Opportunity | NDT Inspector (2nd Shift)

Under direct supervision, the NDT Inspector performs routine non-destructive examinations per Company procedures including visual weld inspections on a variety of fabricated or purchased components, or subassemblies, or finished products using special purpose tools, instruments, and equipment. Work from regulations, Codes, Standards, drawings and specifications where general data may require some interpretation.


  • Actively participate in the company safety programs

  • Set up and utilize nondestructive testing equipment

  • Assist with preparation of NDE Reports, and inspection documents, including non-conformances, and test reports for engineering review.

  • Ensure that fabricated, purchased, or finished products conform to specified criteria using traditional quality control techniques.

  • Calibrate nondestructive testing equipment

  • Conduct MT tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects)

  • Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations

  • Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results

  • Interpret MT results


  • Prior Certified Level I MT technician required. Evidence of formal training, documented experience and prior certifications is required.

  • Previous experience working in a similar manufacturing role conducting inspections

  • Reliable with high attention to detail

  • Basic computer skills and understanding of MS Office

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Technical/Trade school preferred

  • Must be available on day shift for 6 months. Permanent shift is 2:00pm to 10:30pm
