Exlar, a business unit of the Curtiss-Wright Industrial division, designs, manufactures and sells a broad portfolio of precision electro-mechanical actuators for automation of machinery in global markets including defense, automotive manufacturing, energy and general industrial automation. This position reports directly into the business' Ground and Naval Defense segment, a fast paced and growing segment that provides commercial actuation products, systems and engineering services into mission critical defense applications.

The Opportunity | Sr. Applications Engineer
Based on your expertise in applying electro-mechanical actuation and associated motion control products, provide pre and post-sale technical support to Exlar customers and channel partners.
Participate and contribute to sales presentations, product training, and support of existing customers to help drive additional business growth and customer satisfaction. Using proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills, assist the organization in resolving customer issues and assist product management, engineering and operations in assessing new opportunities.
Based out of Exlar's facility in Chanhassen, MN, with occasional domestic and international travel, the position will interface directly with Exlar customers and channel partners in support of our products use in a wide variety of industries spanning factory automation, test & simulation, medical, mobile and specialty equipment applications.
