Teamcenter Solution Architect Developer

Curtiss-Wright EMD is searching for a Teamcenter Solution Architect for its Digital Transformation organization. This candidate will:

  • Lead improvement initiatives and coordinate support from a cross-functional team
  • Be responsible for Teamcenter data model, business logic, user interface, and installation
  • Mentor junior Teamcenter administrators

Our Digital Transformation organization works in a team development environment, supporting business-critical software and developing solutions that align with strategic initiatives. The position is based out of Cheswick, PA and will require less than 10% travel.

Location: Cheswick, PA

Your Challenge:

  • Lead improvement projects and coordinate the efforts of support personnel and junior Teamcenter administrators
  • Independently design, develop, and deploy Teamcenter configurations for Rich Client and Active Workspace
    • Data Model (BMIDE -- business objects, LOVs)
    • Business Logic (ACLs, Workflows, ITK customizations)
    • User Interface (Stylesheets, Preferences, Queries)
  • Plan, coordinate, and develop cost effective and timely solutions to complex business problems using Teamcenter
  • Establish strong working relationships with customers, influencing their decisions and direction to best meet customer needs and CW business objectives
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement and manage deployment to business, including organizational communication, user training, and outage planning
  • Manage Teamcenter corporate server installation, FMS configuration, and creation of Teamcenter development instances (OS and database support is available from other IT groups)
  • Provide end user support and training, and provide mentoring for junior Teamcenter admins

Your Expertise:

  • Must be US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance

Critical Skills for this Position:

  • Experience with design, configuration, and support of Teamcenter
  • Experience with engineering/business processes in low volume, high complexity industries

Additional Useful Skills for this Position:

  • Familiarity with 4-Tier installations using Oracle database and Linux OS
  • Familiarity with Solid Edge and Solid Edge Embedded Client


  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred
