The Opportunity: Technical Sales Manager (Southeast USA)



Great career opportunity in Outside Sales / Business Development within Commercial Nuclear Power Industry!



Under minimal direction, the Technical Sales Manager manages, grows, and owns order closure process and activities to nuclear utilities, A&E, NSSS, EPC firms, and DOE for Enertech products and services in the Southeast region of U.S (Alabama, Carolinas, Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida). Candidate must reside in territory.



Your Challenge



  • Develops new accounts and maintains current accounts

  • Identifies new business leads and opportunities that will grow sales revenue within target region. Manage these opportunities and accounts from discovery through to generation of sales revenues.

  • Monitors the development and implementation of strategic long-term customer relationships

  • Conducts strategic sales calls, presentations, and webinars to generate new business and inquiries. Coordinates with SME's and other departments as necessary for project mining, closure, and success

  • Acts as liaison between account's departments and other sales related units as needed

  • Maintains appropriate records, documentation, and expenses. Tracks, monitors, reports sales data, and inputs detailed leads, opportunities, and weekly CRM site visit trip reports

  • Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, trends, new product ideas, assist with customer specification development, key conference attendance, and supplier fair support



Your Skills



  • Bachelor's Degree is required

  • 2-4+ years of experience selling mechanical systems/rotating devices ie) flow control equipment, valves, actuators, or pumps

  • Eager to travel and get in front of customers to solve their problems

  • Prior inside sales experience and now looking to move into outside sales will be considered

  • Experience working with utility personnel, A&E, NSSS, DOE, or EPC firms

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with knowledge of MS Office and CRM

  • Ability to carry out all activities in a disciplined and professional manner

  • Must be a team player with good interpersonal skills and proven sales experience

  • Self-motivated with good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure

  • Must be able to work flexible hours and travel over 75%
