Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will maintain and oversee the maintenance of accounts and records in such areas as disbursements, expenses, tax payments, and income.

Your Challenge

  • Prepare general ledger, asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing moderately complex account information
  • Intercompany
  • Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents Verifies and analyzes business records, transactions, and procedures.
  • Maintains accounting controls by auditing compliance and recommending policies and procedures. Responsible for SOX testing and compliance
  • Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
  • Maintains financial security by following accounting policies and internal controls
  • Applies continuous improvement techniques and methods to internal processes and systems
  • Responsible for overseeing Fixed Assets
  • Works closely with AR/AP for cash collection and supplier payments

Your Expertise

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (BS)
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through 3-5 years of related experience
  • Proficient/Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively and professionally with others and members of the public
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Manufacturing experience a plus
