Founded in 1951 to meet the special severe service valve requirements of the United States Nuclear Navy, Target Rock is today the premier supplier of highly engineered, valves and related products to both the U.S. Navy nuclear fleet and the global nuclear pow er generation industry. Assembly and Test Intern

Work with design engineering and Assembly Supervision to digitally scan and compile an electronic directory of existing paper tooling drawings. Tasks will require data mining, entering into QA data base, and follow through on complete tasks or:

Work with Assembly Supervision to complete the departments visual manufacturing efforts. This candidate will assist in organization, space reclaiming, and visual labeling of their department IAW target Rocks Visual manufacturing Guidelines which will result in reclaiming 5% overall production area space within A&T Area. Evaluate tooling and make recommendations to design engineering in an effort to reduce nozzle port damage.

Location: East Farmingdale, NY

Your Challenge

  • Support Assembly Supervisor in submitting over 100 open Atco-Meco-Qcr's
  • Inadequate means of measuring and viewing department milestones and schedule
  • Opportunities to prevent product damage during processing

Your Expertise:

  • Computer data base experience preferred
  • Mechanical assembly skills preferred
  • US Citizen
