Chemical Process Operator

Under minimal supervision, the Chemical Process Operator will be responsible for retrieving, measuring and mixing chemical ingredients, monitoring equipment during the chemical process, repairing machinery if problems arise, recording information about equipment and test results, and assisting in the planning and improvement of processes or products

Location: New Brighton, MN

Your Challenge:

  • Storing, retrieving, mixing, and monitoring chemical used in the production process
  • Meet production routing times on jobs for which training has been received.
  • Assist in the job training of lesser skilled operators.
  • Maintain a clean and safe plant

Your Expertise:

  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience working in a chemical environment
  • High School Diploma required. Technical/Trade School preferred.
  • Able to read and interpret process worksheets
  • Understands the importance of product quality and compliance to health and safety procedures.
  • Able to maintain a consistent and acceptable level of quality.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Working conditions may include, but are not limited to: personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, handling of potentially hazardous material, specialized security clearance, and lifting requirements.
