Founded in 1951 to meet the special severe service valve requirements of the United States Nuclear Navy, Target Rock is today the premier supplier of highly engineered, valves and related products to both the U.S. Navy nuclear fleet and the global nuclear pow er generation industry. The first Target Rock valves were installed on the U.S.S. Nautilus, the U.S. Navy's first nuclear powered submarine. Target Rock valves continue to be the valve of choice for the U.S. Navy and they are installed on nuclear powered submarines and aircraft carriers commissioned by the United States. Contracts Intern

Intern is requested to assist TR Staff General Contract Administration and Assistant Program Management Functions.

Location: East Farmingdale, NY

Your Challenge:

  • Receiving, scanning, and issuing internal notifications of New Purchase Orders and Modifications
  • Verifying status of open orders
  • Updating backlogs and project plans
  • Submitting and tracking documentation through the ERP and customer portals
  • Knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

Your Expertise:

  • US Citizen (only)
  • Computer data base experience preferred
  • College graduate preferred
  • High School Graduate mandatory.
