The Opportunity | Data Protection Coordinator


Curtiss-Wright is looking for a Data Protection Specialist based at our new facility by Bournemouth Airport. This new position will involve providing a range of support to the Data Protection Officer (DPO).




Your Challenge:



  • Develop, implement and monitor data privacy management and oversight across a global corporation;

  • Provide national and international data privacy guidance to employees and businesses in a global corporation;

  • Deliver data privacy processes and transformation projects to successful conclusion;

  • Review commercial agreements and contracts, including Data Processing agreements with data processors;

  • Advise on global data privacy obligations and associated data risk matters;

  • Communicate data privacy information and awareness to target audiences across the Corporation.




Your Expertise:


This is a great opportunity for someone with the following experience and motivation to learn and grow their career within a global Data Privacy setting.



  • Experience working in a legal/project lead setting

  • Exposure to Data Privacy legislation and associated concepts

  • Experience working with management and senior management

  • Enthusiasm, a strong desire to succeed, with a proactive attitude and an excellent team player ethos



This position may require exposure to information which is subject to export control regulations such as the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must meet eligibility requirements of the ITAR and of the UK/EU through completion of a Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) application.
