Sr. Project Analyst

The Sr. Project Analyst works closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate data reporting and analysis in addition to responsibilities in general and/or cost accounting. The individual must possess proven skills in computerized accounting systems as well as MS Excel and Oracle.

Location: Mississauga, ON

Your Challenge:

• Ensure all work is performed according to the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Prepare and analyse all data pertaining to assigned projects.
• Meet all key month-end reporting deadlines and complete reconciliations; some late hours expected during month closing.
• Participate in departmental and company project teams as requested.
• Being pro-active, constantly look for ways to improve department processes and service to customers with a positive attitude.
• Follows every reasonable precaution to ensure work is performed following the Health & Safety procedures. Immediately report accidents and incidents and participate in their investigations.

Your Expertise:

• A minimum of 2 years' previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to project costing.
• Proficient with spreadsheets -- MS Excel is mandatory.
• Flexible, multi-task person with high energy who enjoys and functions well in a fast-paced environment. Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines through effective time management.
• Assist with payroll hours submission on a quarterly basis
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills; team player with ability to build and nurture solid relationships both internally and externally.
• Well-developed analytical skills, paying strict attention to details and accuracy.
• Graduate from an appropriate post-secondary program and/or applicable work experience.
• Must have or be actively pursuing a recognized accounting designation.
