Machine Operator - Entry Level

  • This role will provide full training and previous Machine Operator experience is not required. Successful candidates will be looking for a hands-on role, have strong math skills and be interested in learning a Machine Operator role.

    Once trained as Machine Operator you will set up and operate a wide variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of our products. You will works from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by the supervisor to perform production tasks.

    Location: Middleburg Heights, OH (greater Cleveland area)

    Hours: 1st Shift: Monday-Friday (8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.) OR 2nd Shift (Monday - Thursday 12:00 p.m.- 10:00 p.m.)

    Your Challenge:

    • Accurately following and interpreting instructions, procedures and drawings
    • Setting-up, operating and maintaining equipment used in the production of the company's product in order to carry out manufacturing processes
    • Verifying quality of product at the required intervals and verify accuracy of all work
    • May be responsible for in-process inspections
    • Checking and inspecting operation results against predetermined tolerances

    Your Expertise:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required
    • Must be able to lift 60lbs unassisted
    • Math skills - ability to complete basic calculations e.g. converting factions to decimals
    • Knowledge of measuring tools such as dial calipers, micrometers, tape measures, etc. is highly preferred.
