Manager, Quality Control

The Quality Manager would ensure that the thermal spray products and services meet all necessary requirements before they are shipped to the customer. The Quality Manager will oversee the final inspection of components ensuring they meet specified customer expectations.

Location: East Windsor, CT

Your Challenge:

  • Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
  • Supervise inspectors, Lab technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback
  • Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis
  • Solicit feedback from customers to assess whether their requirements are met
  • Understand, maintain and develop facility quality systems
  • Able to take the lead during Customer, AS9100/ISO9001:2015, NADCAP, FAA/EASA Audits

Your Expertise:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 7-10 years' of experience in Quality with 1-3 years' of experience in a management capacity.
  • Full understanding regarding AS9100/ISO9001:2015, NADCAP, FAA/EASA
  • Customer systems understand. Example UTC, GE, RR, Boeing etc....
  • Thermal spray / Met lab understanding a plus
  • In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards
  • Knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with knowledge of MS Office.
  • Excellent eye for detail and a results driven approach
