The Opportunity | Oracle Business Systems Manager

Reporting to the CTO, you will manage the development and support of the Oracle ERP application. Driven by our business goals, as Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of application delivery including: coordinating resources, projects and priorities, platform infrastructure and licensing, and alignment with Company initiatives and policy.

The Challenge

  • Manage activities of the internal and external teams assigned to development projects within the IT project portfolio

  • Collaborate with management to ensure the right skills and talent are delivered and are performing on solution development projects

  • Accountable for establishing standards, strategies and procedures across the development lifecycle in the areas of systems integration and testing

  • Ensure solutions adhere to architectural and quality standards throughout the development lifecycle

  • Through the team, deliver solutions that meet or exceed expectations of business requirements and capabilities

  • Collaborate with business management in planning of development demand and resources as solution projects are planned for and executed

  • Provides technical consulting on complex projects

  • Manage the ERP vendor relationship and enterprise contract, as appropriate

 Your Expertise

  • Bachelors degree, Computer Science or related field

  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience, managing a team of Oracle experts

  • Experience in implementing and / or upgrading Oracle E-Business Suite or R12

  • Ability to think strategically and interface with all levels within the businesses

  • Leadership of teams through significant Oracle implementations

  • Advanced knowledge of application design principles, practices, systems development and analysis

  • Thorough understanding of the software development life cycle

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills that non-technical end users can understand

  • Ability to build positive and professional business relationships with internal and external clients

  • Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance (DoD)

  • Due to the nature of this the work, applicants must be a sole US Citizen
