The Opportunity | QA Engineer


Under general direction; implements and maintains Quality Assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products. Responsible for planning, implementing and managing compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal and external safety, quality and regulatory standards for worldwide distribution. Review methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment and finished products. Performs reviews of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary. May assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards (i.e., Lean, Six Sigma). Prepare and provide quality assurance documentation as required by customer programs.



Your Challenge:



  • Develops and reviews quality documents from receiving, Quality Control, in-process and final inspection in accordance with company and contractual requirements.

  • Reviews and evaluates in-process rejections, dispositions and implements corrective action as needed.

  • May interface with customers, Suppliers and various company departments to resolve quality problems and provide information.

  • Participates in internal and external audits.

  • Provides technical support to inspection personnel as needed.

  • Prepare and provide quality assurance documentation as required by customer programs.

  • Training on Quality Program and internal procedures.



Your Expertise:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Quality

  • 3-4 years' experience in Quality Assurance with 1 year of experience in system related functions.

  • Internal lead auditor certification; LEAN/Six Sigma green belt certification.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with knowledge of MS Office.
