With over 50 years of experience in aviation technology, Curtiss-Wright's Sensors Division is continuing the legacy of flight innovation, providing critical components on a variety of commercial, defense and industrial platforms. From solenoid valves and sensors, to linear and rotary actuators, we work closely with systems integrators to deliver the most reliable products on the market.

Curtiss-Wright are looking for two Senior Manufacturing Technicians to join our state-of-the-art facility by Bournemouth Airport. These new jobs will provide further support to our growing team across all functions associated with our manufacturing operations.

Your Challenge:

• Working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies
• Useing sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment
• Determining and assisting in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process
• Working with engineers in conducting experiments
• Performing product assemble, repair and test functions as well as develop, implement and maintain programs, assembly documentation, routings and processes used in the fabrication of complex products
• Making recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new and existing processes
• Interfacing with various groups to coordinate new product release to production

Your Expertise:

• Proven skills ideally gained in a similar role gained within a manufacturing environment
• Willingness to undertake various tasks and adapt to unexpected situations
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
