Job Description

Our TTC facility in Newtown, PA is the leading total system solution provider for defense and commercial aerospace test applications. TTC is committed to providing quality products and services that consistently meet or exceed our customers' requirements and expectations. We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer. This position will report to the Senior Manager in charge of Windows desktop software.

The Opportunity: Senior Software Engineer


  • Design and implement new features and improvements in the software

  • Redesign portions of the software's architecture to improve performance

  • Interface with other groups within Curtiss-Wright to support new hardware product development

  • Collaborate with the existing engineering team

  • Plan and execute projects from start to finish

Skills and Experience Required

  • 5+ years of recent software development experience

  • Experience with C#, Visual Basic .NET, and Microsoft Visual Studio are mandatory

  • Ability to understanding complex software architectures

  • Ability to document and present software architecture and/or designs

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced team environment

  • Experience in the aviation industry is an asset

  • Experience with common network protocols

  • Experience with SQL databases is a plus

  • Ability to work independently or with a small team on complex projects

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
