Shipper/Receiver -- Manufacturing Warehouse

Support growing customer base, and ensure all customs documentations and shipments are carried out within the required time lines.

Location: Edmonton, Alberta

Your Challenge:

  • Works to help the flow of shipments both inbound and outbound in the manner that is most cost effective. Works to resolve errors and issues with customers. Files required documentation with trucking companies for corrective action.
  • Routes outbound delivered loads and inbound back-hauls. Utilizes logistics software.
  • Creates required export documentation to support US cross boarder and international shipments
  • Coordinates common carrier activities.
  • Maintains customer delivery time windows. Manages communications associated with shipments.

Your Expertise:

  • Minimum education requirement: High School
  • 3-5 years of related work experience
  • US corss border and International shipping training
  • knowledge of FedEx, UPS, Purolator, DHL, and Loomis systems
  • Knowledge in packaging and dealing with international crating

This position may require exposure to information which is subject to US export control regulations such as the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must meet eligibility requirements of the ITAR and of the Controlled Goods Directorate (CDG) and/or a Canadian government security clearance.
