Job Description

The Opportunity | Solderer (2nd Shift)

Solder a wide variety of electronic modules and wiring. May also perform assembly operations on product components, assemblies or sub-assemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable harnessing, welding and fitting on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications. Provide guidance to other assembly/solder personnel.

Your Challenge:

  • Follow written process instructions for soldering and maintain output at expected levels.

  • Provide documentation as required (accounting, product documentation, record logs, etc.).

  • Assemble components to a final configured product utilizing process and drawing instructions and blueprints and specialized tooling and fixtures, measuring equipment and hand tools.

  • Build and test wire harnesses, switches, and solder connectors.

  • May modify assembled circuit boards, remove and replace components on circuit boards, and perform surface mount soldering and de-soldering using a broad range of methods.

  • May attend off-site training and perform off-site solder/assembly service calls as requested.

Your Expertise:

  • 4+ years of experience in soldering and wiring. 

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and work instruction diagrams.

  • Soldering Certification is a strong asset. 

  • HS diploma or equivalent.

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
