Curtiss-Wright has a fantastic opportunity for a progressive and highly professional Senior Executive Administrator to join our team at our Executive Offices, located in Davidson, NC.

This key role will support our Chief Operating Officer (COO) and will contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Senior Leadership Team. You will bring a high level of integrity, diplomacy and tact in communicating with all levels inside and outside of the organization.

The Challenge:

Responsibilities for this position include the ability to think and plan ahead and manage time effectively. Other key responsibilities include:

  • Provide seamless support to the COO including managing meetings and events, both virtually and off-site
  • Manage domestic and international travel arrangements including flights, hotels and complex schedules
  • Manage the COO's correspondence including confidential and sensitive business matters
  • Arrange and coordinate meetings and events globally
  • Collect required data and collate information for the preparation of PowerPoint presentations for Investor and Board meetings
  • Maintain Senior Leadership Timetable weekly
  • Diligently track and manage Action Register items amongst the COO direct reports, following up appropriately to closure
  • Prepare & balance expenses for COO (both personal and Company Credit Card)
  • Provide ad-hoc support and guidance to COO's Direct Reports as necessary

Your Expertise:

  • Post-secondary education in a business-related field
  • Minimum of 5 years previous experience of support at the senior or executive level
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams
  • Experience with SharePoint and Concur is desirable
  • Proven experience in preparing presentations for Senior Teams and Board Members
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Flexibility of working outside regular business hours to attend to pressing items/commitments
  • Project management/event coordination skills
  • Able to work under pressure and use considerable initiative to meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to anticipate and take independent action on handling requests; determine the appropriate course of action, intervene where necessary
  • Superior organization skills with high attention to detail, precise, accurate, focused, action-oriented
  • Exceptional written, presentation and oral communication skills
  • Professional demeanor, trustworthy with highly confidential information, exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Customer-focus mindset
