The Opportunity | Material Handler 

The Material Handler will receive deliveries, move, store, inventory, issue, deliver, and package/ship raw material, in process material, finished materials, expense materials and apparatus. Maintain adequate supply of stocked expense materials. Perform material moves, clean and deburr products, perform dye penetrant exams, and provide support to other manufacturing groups.

Quality Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Receive job assignment with drawing and other necessary information, including oral or written instructions from appropriate supervision or engineers when required. Read and interpret detailed part and tool drawings. Set up work areas and perform required operations for any assigned work scope. Obtain all tools, fixtures and related equipment and perform work.

  • Load and unload variety of materials, equipment, product and perform all computer related transactions to receive items, etc. Construct shipping containers as required. Delivery materials to designated plant / office locations as required

  • Kit parts as required

  • Check work using proper measuring or gaging equipment as required

  • Assist assembly personnel to facilitate assembly operations.

  • Obtain and maintain knowledge of hazardous material handling, packaging and shipping.

  • Keep equipment and work area in clean and orderly condition.

  • Observe all safety and hygiene requirements as specified and directed.

  • Train others when necessary.


  • 4-6 years experience in a similar role

  • Ability to operate material handling equipment, read and interpret blueprint, layout and process worksheets, and effectively communicate with others

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with knowledge of warehouse management system, MS Office.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs. 

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

Must be a sole US citizen and able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance
