Systems Administrator

Curtiss-Wright EMD is searching for a System Administrator for its Engineering Information Technology (EIT) team. This candidate will be primarily responsible for maintaining and expanding the infrastructure related to Teamcenter PLM and Oracle APEX as the business pursues a digital factory.

Engineering IT works to support our engineering department while also administering the back-end infrastructure for our digital transformation team. The position is based out of Cheswick, PA and will require less than 10% travel.

Location: Cheswick, PA

Your Challenge:

• Administer and maintain all aspects of a business critical Teamcenter production environment
• Manage Teamcenter corporate server installation, FMS configuration, and creation of Teamcenter development instances
• Perform Teamcenter upgrades and patch deployments
• Provide end user support and training, and provide mentoring for junior Teamcenter administrators
• Perform helpdesk ticket remediation to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Work alongside a cross-functional team of IT and engineering experts to develop business solutions within Teamcenter
• Administer Oracle APEX related servers and infrastructure

Your Expertise:

• Must be US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance

Critical Skills for this Position:

• Experience with design, configuration, and support of business critical IT systems
• Experience with engineering/business processes in low volume, high complexity industries

Additional Useful Skills for this Position:

• Experience with Teamcenter infrastructure
• Familiarity with 4-Tier installations using Oracle database and Linux OS
• Familiarity with Solid Edge and Solid Edge Embedded Client
• Experience with application server administration (Ex. Tomcat, JBoss)

Education

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred
