Job Description

Under general direction, designs, develops, and implements cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment. Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products. Plans the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.


Responsibilities:



  • Performs a wide variety of routine and semi-routine tasks related to the testing of raw materials, manufactured products or manufacturing processes.

  • Writes and designs test procedures.

  • Reviews and evaluates test failures, in-process rejections and trends, recommending corrective action as appropriate.

  • Provides assistance in the areas of predictability, manufacturing processing, equipment and process improvement.
Skills/Experience


  • Bachelor of Science Degree in either Electrical Engineering/Systems Engineering/Physics or similar

  • 3-6 years of experience working with rugged high-speed computing platforms

  • Experience in executing Validation Testing (MIL-STD and DO-160)

  • Good hardware/software debug skills and associated experience

  • Experience developing and writing test procedures and reports based on requirement flow-downs

  • Designing and debugging Test Equipment
