The Opportunity | Contracts Administrator



As part of the EPD contract's team, This role provides a support function integral to the success of the Contracts, Sales & Marketing department's contribution to EPD. The Contracts Admin, Associate primary responsibility will be to ensure the timely and accurate entry of customer purchase orders, supplements and modifications into EPD's business systems and auxiliary databases. This role will contribute to KPI reporting, audit support, document management, collection of proposal support data, and ad hoc research to support the organization's needs. As part of the EPD team, the Contracts Admin, Associate will have the opportunity to be involved in EPD Continuous Improvement efforts, event planning, presentations, and career development activities.


Location: Bethlehem, PA (greater Philadelphia area)


The Challenge:



  • Order Entry -- Create projects and sales orders in accordance with customer purchase order. Load order budget and price data, shipping instructions, and sales order deliverable schedules as contracted. Revise sales orders and project budgets in accordance with purchase order supplements and modifications.




  • Order Documentation -- Maintain and distribute purchase order and budget documents via EPD document control and approval systems.




  • Reports - Maintain report databases in Microsoft Excel. Extract and format data from business databases to support weekly and monthly reporting, strategic planning, audit support and proposal development.




  • Other duties as assigned, ad hoc -- administrative tasks as needed to support department and EPD needs





Your Expertise:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 0-2 years' experience

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to details

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft applications

  • Demonstrated ability to perform as part of a team

  • Must be US citizen and able to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance

  •

  • Familiarity with government contracting and defense market

  • Presentation skills.
