To support our team in Neuhausen am Rheinfall we are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f/d).

Your challenge:

  • A proven background in the field of electromechanical drive technology
  • Working through independent processing of assigned projects including technical project management
  • Conception, development and construction of sophisticated assemblies and components according to specifications as well as internal development process
  • Selection, design and calculation of machine elements, components and gears
  • Taking on product responsibility
  • Creation of product-related documentation
  • Working on a combination of legacy and new product development
  • Bringing your own ideas and initiative to product design

Your expertise

  • Completed technical studies, ideally in Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong Design work experience ideally from a related industry
  • Manufacturing knowledge
  • Experienced in handling CAE systems (preferably Siemens UG NX, Ansys & KISSsoft)
  • Knowledge of ERP/EDM and MS-Office applications
  • Very good German language skills and in-depth English skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Good analytical and conceptual thinking
  • Structured, solution-oriented and accurate working methods
  • Good communication skills
