Curtiss-Wright Steam & Air Solutions (SAS), a business unit of Curtiss-Wright, designs, manufactures, tests and provides - Navy steam turbines and steam valves, nuclear steam turbines, and aftermarket steam parts, upgrades, and overhauls.

Located in Summerville SC, this state-of-the-art facility is approximately 134,000 square feet dedicated to manufacturing in relations to machining, welding, assembly and quality inspections.

Quality Inventory Traceability Clerk (Contract Position)

Steam & Air Solutions in Summerville, SC is initiating a project to establish material traceability for approximately 7000 items transferred to our inventory from another company.

The material transferred with some identifying information (e.g., labels, tags, etched numbers) and corresponding records. However, the material markings and records are not linked. The project will review each item, physically inspect the item, search for the item's original record in an electronic repository, and ultimately create a new electronic record linking the physical item to its original record. This job requires fluency in the English language, the ability to count and perform basic mathematical functions unaided, the ability to sort items by unique identifier (serial/lot numbers, size, or shape), basic computer data entry skills, and the ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hrs a day and lift items up to 50 lbs.

Contract Position -- 2 months during June -- July.

Hours -- 7:30 -- 4:00 Full-time Monday through Friday.  Hourly Rate: $15.00

Candidate will be contingent labor through agency designated by Curtiss-Wright.

Candidate must complete background check and drug screen prior to start.
