The Opportunity: Sales Account Manager (Virtual Position)


We are looking to hire 2 Sales Account Managers, HOMEBASED,  in the following 2 regions:


Region#1: LA, AR, MS


Region #2: SC, GA, AL, FL


As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for growing the business by selling Curtiss-Wright's products within 2 business units (AP Services and Nova Machines); primary responsibility may include identifying, qualifying, generating and developing new business opportunities and accounts in order to sell the company's products and/or services to end-users within a designated territory. Develops new accounts and/or expands existing accounts. Pursuits of these opportunities will regularly involve multi-level sales efforts and will demand building credibility and developing relationships indirectly within the customer base and with the team of sales professionals. Resulting contracts range from small development efforts to multi-million dollar production awards. Customers may be geographic or named accounts.


Responsibilities



  • Assists in developing sales strategies that will produce maximum market penetration. Meeting and/or exceeding the assigned business targets in a specific geographic area or account

  • Provides sales support to Bid and Proposals team by identifying objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales earnings and capturing new business

  • Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates. Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and promote sales.

  • Delivers sales presentations and demonstrations to key clients, negotiates and closes deals. Meets with clients and leads customer interfaces making recommendations for capture strategy. Maintains relationships with customers, including timely responses

  • Develops and presents business cases for internal review and communicate development on a regular basis.

  • May manage a team of sales representatives including and associated quota for bookings and design wins and/or maintains tracking data and forecasting databases.


Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required

  • 7+ years industrial technical sales experience or background in industrial technical products

  • Experience selling fluid sealing products is highly desired

  • Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to work independently but also as part of a team environment

  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and selling within short and long sales cycles

  • Ability to travel
