The Opportunity | Sales Engineer, Associate

Joining our Instrumentation and Controls team, you will be empowered to help identify, assess, and evaluate routine product solutions that would be beneficial to our client business. Interacts with client to assess major business processes and address product needs. Collaborate with internal technical teams to provide and deliver according to client's specifications.

This is not a sales commission role.

Your Challenge:

  • Assists in joint development of system concepts with appropriate members from engineering division.
  • Assists in the selling process by helping provide system cost estimates that reflect the organization/clients current ability to purchase, design and build, and helps writes the descriptive document that adequately describes the scope of the proposed system
  • Aids in providing the conceptual development, preparation of cost model and writing detailed technical proposals for all types of product/service applications.
  • May assists engineers and other technical staff in design and development of products, systems, processes and equipment by analyzing technical problems and working closely to customer specifications.
  • May travel to the customer's site to assist in project or product development, may work with engineering design specifications, objectives and standards.
  • May coordinates training sessions, seminars, and continuing education to stay abreast of new technical developments.

Your Expertise:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering
  • 0-2 years of related experience
  • Understanding of release process, product flow charts, and concurrent engineering principals and methodology.
  • Strong analytical skills, interpersonal skills, and understanding of MS Office (Project, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
