We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Electrical Engineer to join our technical staff in our Integrated Systems group in Santa Clarita, California. Santa Clarita is our center of excellence for hardware level system integration and advanced package design. In this role, you will use your electrical engineering expertise to design, develop, modify and evaluate electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment, or other hardware systems and/or electrical engineering applications. Although you will work with both analog and digital circuitry, previous analog circuit design experience is preferred here.

Your Challenge:

  • Determine design approaches and parameters based on input from customer or systems architect

  • Systematically determine root cause of failures or performance anomalies

  • Analyze complex circuits to establish operating data, as well as conduct experimental tests to validate findings

  • Assist in debug efforts for new product implementation and production issues

  • Select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.

  • May also review vendor capability to support product development
You:



  • Degree: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering preferred

  • Circuit design experience for both analog and digital, FPGA programming & component level design

  • Hands on experience with debug tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, other laboratory tools)

  • Experience in control theory and able to design and analyze circuit at the transfer function level (Laplace Transformation, Z-transform, poles/zeros analysis, etc)

  • Ability to perform Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) process
