Senior Maintenance Repair Technician

Under minimal supervision, the Senior Maintenance Repair Technician plans, installs and maintains a wide variety of electrical, mechanical and manufacturing equipment.

Location: Milwaukee, Wi

Your Challenge:

• Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine a wide variety of problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.
• Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings.
• Has thorough knowledge of electrical, mechanical and manufacturing principles and able to diagnose and correct all malfunctions in the most economical manner.
• May perform a variety of equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers.

Your Challenge:

• 4-6 years' experience in a similar role
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and pneumatic diagrams, and perform alignment checks on all machines, diagnose, and make corrections.
• Familiarity with 3 phase motor 460 volt motors and pumps
• Basic electrical wiring, plumbing, and welding skills
• Ability to read multi-meters
• Forklift experience or scissor lift experience is an asset
• High school diploma required. Technical/Trade school preferred in Industrial Maintenance or HVAC.
