Administrative Assistant 

Under direct supervision, performs standard secretarial and administrative duties. Types letters, memorandums, and reports, files, answers phone, and handles mail. May take and transcribe dictation. May work for one or more individuals in support of a department, project or contract. Supports a department or single manager.

Location: Brampton, ON

Your Challenge:

  • Answers incoming phone calls for department. Screens calls as necessary.
  • Coordinates calendars and schedules and may help to organize conferences and meetings.
  • Types correspondence, reports and other documents. Maintains routine databases.
  • Processes documents to update and maintain files and records.
  • Makes travel arrangements. Processes travel expense report forms and check requests.

Your Expertise:

  • High School or Equivalent required. 
  • Experience in drafting corespondance, communicating on the phone, and data entry are essential.
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel)
  • Excellant coordination skills 

This position may require exposure to information which is subject to US export control regulations such as the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must meet eligibility requirements of the ITAR and of the Controlled Goods Directorate (CDG) and/or a Canadian government security clearance.
