Customer Service Representative

Answers all incoming calls and directs to appropriate person or department. Responsible for all shipping. Is responsible for keeping front office clean and orderly by maintaining work flow. This position is a part of the Sales Staff department and in turn should have the mentality of providing customer service to internal and external customers with the result of furthering the company and its goals.

Location: Lansing, NY

Your Challenge:

  • Receives and directs visitors, employment applicants, salespersons, customers, etc. to appropriate locations and parties. Notifies staff of visitor's arrival. Maintains a visitors' log and issues badges to all non-employee visitors.
  • Responsible for shipping and associated record keeping for all UPS, FedEx, US Mail, etc. shipping.
  • Provides administrative support when required. Additional duties include filing, copying, emailing, mail distribution and completing special clerical projects.
  • Uses company intranet, paging or other computer-based systems.
  • Assists with tasks or projects when required.

Your Expertise:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office.
  • Impeccable organizational skills with a high attention to detail. 
  • 2-3 years of relevant Customer Service or Administrative experience. 

This position may require exposure to information which is subject to US export control regulations, i.e. the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of U.S. regulations.
