Quality Document Control Specialist

As part of the Quality team, oversees the Document Control (DC) policy system, working closely with technical writing, DC implementation and configuration management staff. Researches and makes recommendations for appropriate hardware and software required for the DC system. Develops and presents DC training sessions.

Location: Bethlehem, PA

The Challenge:

  • Establishes controls necessary to ensure that assigned, required data is compiled, prepared, reviewed, approved, published and submitted to or received from the customer in quality form, on time, and within budget
  • Achieves customer satisfaction by consistently prepping, scanning, inspecting, compiling, and assembling a wide range of projects accurately in a timely manner while maintaining company standards.
  • Assesses and identifies contractual data requirements specified in customer contracts.
  • Coordinates the interaction between engineering, manufacturing, field operations, program management and marketing to ensure appropriate changes are documented and provide direction for the development of data.
  • Ensures and verifies required data complies with contract specifications and internal company policies and procedures.
  • Performs system and process audits.

Your Expertise:

  • Associated degree but undergraduate degree in Engineering is preferred
  • Prior experience in reading technical drawings and documents
  • Proficient in MS Office software
  • Deep understanding of operational environment, processes and procedures
  • Must be US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance
