Machine Operator, Sr

Under minimal supervision, sets up and operates a wide variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines including robotic assembly equipment used in the production of the company's product. Responsible for the overall operation of potentially large-scale manufacturing machinery including actions such as feeding materials for processing, adjusting settings, performing minor repairs, and pulling finished product from the line. Works from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks. Checks and inspects operation results against predetermined tolerances.

Location: Blue Ash, Ohio

Your Challenge:

  • Accurately follow and interpret instructions and drawings. Complete production and test documentation with a high level of accuracy.
  • Set-up, operate and maintain equipment used in the production of the company's product in order to carry out the manufacturing processes in a number of designated areas with a high level of accuracy and quality with minimal supervision.
  • Meet production routing times on jobs for which training has been received.
  • Assist in the job training of lesser skilled operators.

Your Expertise:

  • At least 4-6 years of experience in a similar position
  • High school or equivalent
  • Ability to operate equipment, read and interpret blueprint, layout, and process worksheets, set-up and operate assigned machines and equipment, and effectively communicate with others.
  • Understands the importance of product quality and compliance to health and safety procedures.
  • Able to maintain consistent and acceptable level of quality.
