Founded in 1951 to meet the special severe service valve requirements of the United States Nuclear Navy, Target Rock is today the premier supplier of highly engineered, valves and related products to both the U.S. Navy nuclear fleet and the global nuclear power generation industry. Manager, Quality Control

This position reports to the Director of Quality Assurance and is charged with maintaining an inspection system to assure that all products manufactured by the organization meet customer specifications. This is an exciting time for Target Rock. The U.S. Navy has substantially increased the build schedule for the latest Virginia Class and Columbia Class submarines. In addition, Target Rock has designed solenoid valves for NuScale which will build the world's first commercial Small Modular Reactor (SMR). In response to this increase in demand, Target Rock has invested over $20 million in multi-tasking machine tools.

The Quality Control Manager will lead the modernization of inspection capability to meet the output of our retooled machine shop. This key management position is part of our annual bonus plan. It is a highly visible role with significant opportunities to contribute and advance. Previous managers have had highly successful careers at Curtiss Wright Target Rock.
