Payroll Supervisor

Payroll Supervisor is responsible for supervising the preparation and disbursement of the Corporation's payroll. This position ensures the Payroll Administrators are trained on company policies/processes and verifies these processes are in accordance with Federal, State & Local Regulations. In addition, oversees the Garnishment process which is outsourced to a Third Party.

Your Challenge:

  • Supervise payroll function assuring the timely & accurate processing of payroll processing
  • Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow
  • Reviewer of payrolls to ensure accuracy
  • Identify and Implement Improvements to systems/procedures
  • Responsible for the timely updates and setup of the payroll system in compliance with applicable company policies as well as Federal, State & Local Regulations
  • Coordinates the reporting and mailing of state and federal copies of W-2s and ensures the deadline is met
  • Assist in Quarterly and Year Reviews

Your Expertise:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Certified Payroll Professional or 10+ years' experience
  • 4-6 years' experience working in a similar role
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Demonstrated Coaching skills
  • Strong decision making and strategic thinking skills
  • Workday experience an asset
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) an asset
