This position is responsible for the global foreign exchange function for the Corporation.

Your Challenge

  • The FX Analyst is responsible for assisting in the global currency management function. This individual will gather detail on projected balance sheet positions and recommend hedge strategies to manage risk in accordance with the company's FX risk management policy.
  • Manage global FX transactional and forecast hedges. Prepare monthly deliverable to senior management detailing the hedging program effectiveness and slippage. Also, this candidate will need to analyze various forecast reports and summarize for FX reporting to include monthly and annual forecasted rates. Partner with Curtiss-Wright staff, outside banks and vendors to recommend annual FX budget rates for business plans.
  • Deliver month-end and year-end reporting deliverables to our accounting group. Retain accurate records of all FX transactions. Monitor and maintain documentation of hedge transactions.
  • Recommend and implement hedge strategies to manage risk in accordance with the company's FX risk management policy.
  • Maintain relations with Curtiss-Wright business unit personnel. Field applicable FX related calls/correspondence from business unit representatives.
  • Provide backup support to the Cash Manager and Treasury Analyst. Prepare ad hoc analysis/special projects for the Treasury Department in various financial related areas.
  • Administer Foreign Cash Investment in conjunction with the Cash Manager and Assistant Treasurer
  • Support the corporate insurance program. Obtain various values and deliver to our insurance brokers for the purpose of policy renewal.

Your Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in an FX related function is preferable
  • Corporate Accounting experience is helpful for this role
  • Cash Management and/or Capital Markets experience is a plus
  • Sound knowledge of accounting particularly the balance sheet is a requirement
  • MBA is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Self-starter
  • Excellent communication/customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently
