Sr. Benefits Analyst:

Under minimal supervision, this role administers and communicates the company's domestic health and welfare benefits program in regards to plan options, policy features, enrollment and other requirements. Participates in planning, developing, and redesigning company benefits programs and analyzing benefit costs. Ensures company compliance with federal and state laws. Maintains knowledge of and analyzes government regulations, benefit program trends, and prevailing practices among similar organizations. May provide guidance and training to more junior team members.

Location: Parsippany, New Jersey

Your Challenge:

  • Lead the resolution of complex employee benefits issues in coordination with HR team, carriers, and vendors.
  • Assist with special studies, projects (e.g. acquisition integration, new benefits implementation) and training of entry level team members.
  • Create benefits plan administrative procedures. Draft communication materials for various audiences, and deliver presentations to participants and HR teams to help employees understand available benefits.
  • Act as a liaison between carriers and outsourcing vendors in the development, implementation and maintenance of enrollment, eligibility and premium payments for all health and welfare benefit plans. Resolve data issues between systems and execute process improvements.

Your Expertise:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • 4-6 years of experience in a benefits role
  • Excellent Computer Skills in Microsoft Applications
  • Experience with Workday and ADP would be an asset
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Problem solving skills
