TTC, a Curtiss-Wright company, are a recognized leader in comprehensive and integrated data acquisition through telemetry systems that include data analysis units, sensors, transmitters, receivers, and ground station analysis tools to measure, record, transmit, and analyze aircraft and munitions parameters during test flights. TTC have a broad exposure on more than 140 programs, including high-performance military aircraft such as the F-35 and F-18, major defense flight test centers, spacecraft, missile programs, and commercial and business jets. Key products include data acquisition units, recorders, network products, RF networks, airborne transmitters and receivers, and telemetry expansion cards.

Test Engineer

The Test Engineer is responsible for testing software requirements for new developed products. This involves working with design/software engineering to develop design software verification test plans and develop automated Test Software. Test Engineers also support production line flowing. The Test Engineer must be capable of multitasking and efficiently utilizing Engineering Technicians to assist workflow.

Your Challenge:

  • Experience developing programs with Visual Basic, LabVIEW, and Python etc.
  • Experience with system integration testing.
  • Experience creating software system level test plans for embedded systems and circuit cards from product specifications.
  • Ability to design cables for integrating multiple systems for test stations.
  • Familiarity with lab test equipment (i.e. oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, power supplies).
  • Ability to work with Personal Computers and software tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Visio.
  • Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering principles.
  • Ability to take ownership of a project with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to multitask with multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to work in a team environment with a diverse group of development engineers, test engineers, and technicians.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Your Expertise:

  • Experience or good understanding of network technology (i.e. Ethernet, IP, Wireshark)
  • Experience with working with a variety of interfaces, i.e. RS232/422, IEEE-1394b, Fibre Channel, PCM, Ethernet 100/1000BT + 10G.
  • Experience working with Fiber Optics.
  • Linux command line experience a plus
  • JIRA Bug Tracking
  • Data Validation and Verification
  • BA/BS in Electrical Engineering required.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the field of test engineering.
  • Due to the nature of the work performed at this facility, this role may require a DOD Government security clearance. Incumbents must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance while employed by this site.
