  • Location: Middleburgh Heights, OH (greater Cleveland area)

    Under general supervision, the Warehouse Receiver/Material Handler performs the physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Lifts heavy items and operate a forklift. May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.
     
    Your Challenge:

    • May prepare, load and unload shipments including documentation and verification.

    • Responsible for processing all material to include examination for damage, processing discrepancies, and delivery of material to stock Locations.

    • Have the ability to perform final inspection using tape measures, calipers or other measuring devices. Will need to possess the ability to find circumference of a circle and understand units of measure such as square feet.

    • Package product for shipping via UPS, FedEx or freight carrier.

    • Recommend process improvements to reduce future discrepancies.

    • Assist with cycle count inventory.
    Your Expertise:
     

    • 2-3 years of experience in a Material Handler, Warehouse or Order Picking role.

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.

    • Forklift Certification is an asset

    • Driver's License is an asset

    • Comfortable lifting up 50lbs unassisted.
