Warehouse Supervisor

The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for supervising staff in the performance of a variety of duties: shipping, receiving, stocking, storing and inventory selection. In addition to supervising staff, prepares and maintains various regular inventory and or shipping reports to management, authorizes and or rejects shipments and resolves discrepancies.

Location: Edmonton, Alberta

Your Challenge:

  • Delegates work assignments in a high paced manufacturing environment.
  • Maintains work area and serves as Lead contact for all daily stockroom processes.
  • Guides Team to achieve 100% On-Time Deliveries. Has strong work ethic & able to lead by example.
  • Cooperation with department team leaders essential.
  • Implementing Lean Manufacturing principles and practices to gain efficiency in materials movement and storage.

Your Expertise:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 4-6 years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor
  • Experience in the Valve manufacturing industry is a strong asset
  • Strong understanding of export compliance regulations for North America & International shipments.
  • Attention to Safety compliance mandatory, equipment operations-forklift/crane.

This position may require exposure to information that is subject to US export control regulations, i.e. the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of U.S. regulations.
