Job Description


The Opportunity | Administrative Assistant



Under direct supervision, the Administrative Assistant performs standard administrative duties to support the department. This may include typing letters, memorandums, and reports, filing, handling mail and coordinating meetings.



Major Accountabilities /Deliverables




  • Answers incoming phone calls for department and screens calls as necessary.

  • Coordinates calendars and schedules and may help to organize conferences and meetings.

  • Types correspondence, reports and other documents. Maintains routine databases.

  • Processes documents to update and maintain files and records.

  • Makes travel arrangements. Processes travel expense report forms and check requests.

  • Completes administrative projects as required.


Qualifications:



  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role

  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel) required

  • Previous experience with Concur Solutions is an asset

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Must be a US Citizen
