The Opportunity | Associate Benefits Analyst -- Health and Welfare Plans

Administer the Company's domestic Health and Welfare benefit programs on a day-to-day basis including eligibility and enrollments, performing required audits, and claims reconciliations. Resolve basic employee benefits issues in coordination with HR team, carriers, and vendors. Interface with third party benefits administrator to monitor and problem-solve administrative issues. Gather data and analyze its impact on employee benefits issues and trends.

Your Challenge:

Ongoing Responsibilities

• Assist HR Service Center and HR field staff with resolution of benefits enrollment and eligibility issues.

• Partner with third party benefits administrator to monitor and resolve administrative issues.

• Create and run reports from ADP and third party administrator systems to be able to compile and pay health and welfare related bills and invoices. Monitor and report on trends related to these payments.

• Partner with HRIS and Payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of benefits deductions.

Annual Enrollment

• Assist with all aspects of domestic annual benefits open enrollment including meeting deadlines and communicating and implementing changes to benefits enrollment portal.

• Assist with design and development of open enrollment communications including enrollment materials, employee slides, and other marketing materials.

• Track and analyze open enrollment participation and elections by business unit and division detailing trends throughout the company.

Cost Tracking and Compliance Filing

• Track monthly healthcare spending by business group and unit and prepare monthly benefits experience report and provide trend analysis.

• Calculate and monitor both company and employee benefits spending and compare versus industry trends.

• Assist with all compliance filings include 5500s, ACA filings, and any required plan audits.

Your Expertise:

• 1-3 years health & welfare benefits analyst experience including exposure to ERISA, HIPAA, and ACA

• Bachelor's Degree

• Strong analytical ability

• Organized and detail oriented individual able to balance multiple priorities

• Experience writing reports and extracting data from HRIS systems

• Excellent PC and Microsoft Office skills including ability to create mail merges and advanced Excel formulas including vlookups

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
