Job Description

The Opportunity

The Engineer performs relatively routine analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of computer software and product hardware with the ongoing guidance and direction from more experienced engineers. They will be responsible for translating technical guidance into usable engineering data applicable to the particular assignment. Engineering activities support both domestic and international products/services.

Your Challenge

  • Performs routine engineering assignments of an analysis, design or test nature requiring application of specific standard techniques and procedures.

  • Documents usable engineering data applicable to the assignment.

  • May work independently on small projects or assist more senior engineers.

  • May assist with the analyses to develop design options or recommendations and may assists in the preparation of cost estimates and specifications on low level projects.

  • Demonstrate a natural curiosity and eagerness to learn

Your Expertise

  • Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering

  • 1-3 years of experience within a similar industry; aerospace, military, and/or medical

  • Proven experience in environments framed under AS9100 or equivalent

  • Some experience in operating industrial vacuum systems

  • Experience with manufacturing of printed circuit boards is a plus

  • Ability to multitask and be productive in a fast pace environment

  • Good communication skills, and comfortable communicating with customers
