The Opportunity | Executive Assistant

The Executive Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to the General Manager. They may coordinate messages, appointments, information to callers, file maintenance, department office supplies and mail. Researches, compiles and proofs word processing assignments. Operates automated office equipment. May be assigned to various functional areas of the company.

Major Accountabilities /Deliverables

  • Primary forward facing presence for SAS Facility to include internal and external customers.

  • Proven ability to prioritize and multi-task a variety of administrative duties in a fast-paced customer service environment.

  • Serves as a Site Focal for communication messaging boards

  • Provides administrative support to maintain Site All Employee Sharepoint calendaring and communication.

  • Functions as the central contact for department or business group meeting agendas, schedules, and action notices as needed.

  • Coordinates administrative and logistical details associated with the day to day operations of the department or business group(s).

  • Performs a variety of secretarial duties, which may be complex or confidential to include: travel arrangements, travel itineraries, agendas, advances, expense reports, submission of check requests, etc. May negotiate with vendors for office supplies

  • Prepares various spreadsheet reports to assist in data analysis for the department(s) and business group(s).

  • Provide backup for department or business group's administrative needs.


  • 4-6 years' experience in a similar role

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient in data entry with a high attention to detail

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)

  • Knowledge in business operations and expense/cost comparison

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required

  • Must be a sole US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance
