The Opportunity | Facility Security Officer/Information Systems Security Manager

Candidate will assume the role as the Facility Security Officer (FSO) and Information System Security Manager (ISSM), managing all tasks associated with Industrial Security for the facility as well as certain Information Technology functions associated with Information Assurance. Candidate must be a sole U.S. citizen, capable of obtaining and maintaining a Top Secret Security Clearance through both the Department of Defense and the Department of Energy. Candidate must be capable of coordinating all efforts related to the security of sensitive projects and programs. This position requires leadership abilities, and acts as the primary liaison with upper management, customers, and government agencies.


* Manages all aspects of Industrial Security at Curtiss Wright SAS, to include physical security, personnel security, and information security.

* Supervises and directs security measures necessary for the implementation of policies and procedures pertaining to the industrial security program at Curtiss Wright SAS

* Direct compliance efforts at the facility in accordance with government regulations.

* Primary contact for all new personnel to the facility, managing all aspects of the security onboarding process to include the Security Onboarding presentation, distribution and coordination of required onboarding forms, and coordination with managers and lead personnel hiring new employees.

* Manages all efforts associated with physical security.

* Manages efforts associated with information system security.

* Direct all Industrial Security matters associated with information security.

* Act as the organizational Insider Threat Program Security Official (ITPSO).

* Assist the EMS Director of Security in coordination efforts with local, regional, and federal law enforcement to include collaboration, supporting active investigations, enacting preventative measures, and managing personnel security matters.

* Lead efforts associated with the coordination of visitors to the facility, managing foreign nationals and their access throughout the facility, assist with witness points and tours of the facility, and ensure compliance with the approvals and paperwork associated with visitors and foreign nationals.

* Primary contact for government cognizant agencies.

* In charge of all leadership efforts of the CW-SAS Security Department.

* Maintain all appropriate certifications and training requirements as an FSO and ISSM.

* Ensure implementation and accuracy of all security related directives, manuals, security plans, and governing documents. Direct, revise, and provide recommendations as necessary.

Bachelor's Degree required. Four (4) to six (6) years of relevant Security experience required. IT Security certification preferred (i.e. Security+, CISSP, or equivalent). Candidate should be familiar with vulnerability and logging tools (e.g. SolarWinds, Graylog, Security Center/Nessus).

This position may require exposure to information, which is subject to US export control regulations, i.e. the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of U.S. regulations.
