The Opportunity | Field Technician


This position performs field services utilizing EST Group products and equipment. Services normally involve but are not limited to inspection, maintenance or troubleshooting of heat exchangers, vessels, piping or similar industrial equipment at customer sites. This position requires a considerable amount of travel within the United States and abroad.



Your Challenge:


• Assisting in the testing, repair and maintenance of site/field equipment at customer sites in the Power Generation, Chemical, Refining, Pipeline, Shipbuilding & Boiler Manufacturing industries worldwide.


• Acquiring knowledge of EST products in order to train EST employees and customers


• Performing administrative tasks such as cost quoting, scheduling of training, field reports etc.


• Assist with EST manufacturing, product repair/refurbishment, or testing activities as required.


• Performing other job-related duties as assigned by management.




Your Expertise:


• Associate's degree or equivalent of 2 years of college or technical school


• 2+ years of related work experience in the US Navy, Power Generation, Chemical, Refining, Shipbuilding, Pipeline, or Boiler manufacturing industries.


• MS Office, other applicable software


• Strong communication and public speaking skills


• Field service of customer's equipment is an important aspect of the job.


• Must be available for frequent international travel and overnight stays.
