The Opportunity | FP&A Manager
 
Assists senior leadership in Financial Analysis in the development and preparation of annual operating budgets and periodic financial reports. Analyzes, evaluates, and develops forecasting models and identifies to management potential areas of opportunities and risks.
 
Your Challenge:

  • Responsible for monthly financial statements and management of key performance indicators.

  • Performs month-end review of results to ensure accuracy.

  • Analyzes and reports on key drivers of business and company performance, including monthly and quarterly results and variance analysis.

  • Partners with senior and executive management on ad hoc analyses, special projects and Board of Director's meeting preparation.

  • Performs sensitivity, scenario and what-if analysis, as well as analyzes the financial impact of changes in business and new business opportunities/acquisitions.

  • Reviews consolidated forecasts and budgets, and analyzes trends in revenue, expense, capital expenditures and other related areas.

  • Maintains and coordinates completion of business unit/division financial deadlines.

  • Carries out performance analysis and reporting as required.

  • Works with business users to refine and improve current reporting and analysis which includes ad hoc reporting to satisfy end users.

  • Responsible for managing, training and mentoring support staff.
 
Your Expertise:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • MBA or an advanced degree in business or finance a plus.

  • FP&A or CPA certification preferred.

  • 7-10 years of relevant industry experience including 2+ years in a supervisory role.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Ability to work Independently.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Working knowledge of business planning and reporting tools is a plus.

  • Systems Implementation experience a plus.

  • Proficient in MS Office including Excel & PowerPoint.
